Global Advisory Management | Investment Intern

During my time in Global Advisory Management, I worked directly with institutional‐level investment research and advisory workflows. My role focused on evaluating investment structures, supporting regulatory processes, and contributing to high-impact business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions

I constructed seven in-depth fee request research reports for prospectus companies. Each report required a full review of investment strategy, covenant structure, fund size, and competitive positioning. One of these recommendations directly contributed to securing a $3.2 billion client account, generating approximately $2.5 million in annual revenue for the firm.

I managed and reviewed investment reports using FedPorts, Operin, Bloomberg, and SIRS to ensure compliance standards were met across 21 state-level portfolio accounts spanning eight different states. I also built a department-wide SharePoint system and a legal-review tracking tool used across all three Global Advisory Management channels to streamline monthly leadership meetings.

Skills Developed

Through this role, I strengthened my abilities in institutional research, regulatory awareness, data organization, and professional communication. I also developed a stronger understanding of how legal, compliance, and portfolio management intersect within large asset management firms.

GIO Performance Operations | Investment Intern

May 2025 – August 2025 | Pittsburgh, PA

In this role, I focused directly on fund performance oversight and operational integrity. I analyzed mutual fund account performance, identified irregularities, and escalated critical findings to portfolio managers and senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions

I evaluated post-performance data on mutual fund accounts to identify performance discrepancies. When anomalies were discovered, I escalated findings to the appropriate Portfolio Managers, helping protect client outcomes and operational standards.

This role strengthened my ability to quickly interpret market data, detect inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly in high-stakes environments.
